Mystery Object Revealed…

We have our third and final lucky winner in our Mystery Object competition. Congratulations to Rodney from WA!

So what was it, you ask? Here he is in his full glory and we love him in the Tasting Room because he keeps our wine fresh as a daisy! It’s Pungo – an argon-based wine preserver and pourer in one.

And yes, he comes in different shades….Thank you for the entries – particularly loved the “dusting or smoking device,” “teapot or coffee machine” and the “I will call it an object that helps the wine makers help make amazing wine!!! …..I don’t know what it is, but it is shiny and red and I like it.”

I love it too because it matches my oven!

Cheers, and hope to hear from you at our next competition.

Competition and Shop updates!

The latest Competition has two winners so far (Anthony and Courtney from Victoria) so I’m looking for the third and final person to win a bottle of their choice from our range…..

What’s the competition? It’s to email me and tell me what the mystery object is – go to our home page and scroll down to the Latest Blog Posts to see the featured picture , or better still have a look at our recent newsletter .

Happily our Shop is now up and running again! So duck on over here to get your new releases of Rieslings: the R9 and the R69. Our prices have remained unchanged at $36 for the 750ml Rieslings and $33 for the lovely 375ml dessert Riesling R139.  If you can’t decide – there is always the Classic Tasting pack at $120 which includes our current Pinot Noir and your choice of Rieslings. Freight, as usual, is free.

Good Luck to our competition entrants!

Post Vintage Catch-Up

A huge thank you to Matt and the boys, Liam and Sean, and the team from Hortforce who weathered the madness of vintage with great calmness.  Pressing of the Pinot Noir was finally completed in early May and the barrels are now snuggled until assemblage in January.

The photo above comes from some drone footage courtesy of our son – not bad for his first fly-over and production.  See the video here on our Facebook page.  A truly relaxing experience.

And just to prove it wasn’t all work during vintage – we enjoyed some Wicked Cheese Nanny Goat Blue with our 2016 R139 when visited by friends and Wine Club members.
